Our Standards

Where potency meets responsibility.

At Sika, we’re building skincare with integrity from the very beginning — carefully developing each formula through science-led testing and responsible manufacturing. Our goal is to create products that combine nature’s potency with proven results for sensitive skin, without compromising safety or quality.

We’re currently finalising formulations and manufacturing partnerships that uphold the same principles our products are built on: potency, gentleness, and trust. Every formula is designed to respect the skin’s natural balance — using naturally derived actives, barrier-supportive ingredients, and avoiding harsh synthetics or known irritants.

Safety and Compliance

Before any product reaches our customers, it goes through a full safety and compliance process under UK Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009. This includes:

  • Independent Safety Assessment — conducted by a certified cosmetic safety assessor.

  • Product Information File (PIF) — prepared and maintained for every formulation.

  • Responsible Person Registration — managed through an authorised UK-based Responsible Person.

  • Product Notification — submission to the Office for Product Safety & Standards (OPSS) via the UK Submit Cosmetic Products portal.

We’re currently in the process of completing these steps for our first product, ensuring full compliance and traceability before launch.

Manufacturing Standards

All Sika products are being developed and prepared for production in facilities that operate to ISO 22716 (Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics) standards.
From ingredient sourcing to formulation, filling, and packaging, each stage is carefully monitored for quality and consistency.

We’re committed to partnering only with manufacturers who share our values of precision, transparency, and care for the skin.
